Our accredited energy assessor is registered with National Home Energy Rating (NHER) - the UK's first and largest energy rating scheme - and adheres to the NHER Scheme Code of Practice. The NHER Accreditation Scheme has been providing a quality assurance framework for issuing energy ratings since 1990 and, in 2007, it also became a member of the Faero Competent Persons Scheme.

Through NHER, our energy assessor attained his ABBE Level 3 Diplomas in Domestic Energy Assessment (Dip. DEA) and in Non Domestic Energy Assessment (Dip. NDEA), the National Occupational Standards for energy inspection approved by the Qualification and Curriculum Authority. He is presently studying for an M.Sc. in Renewable Energy in the Built Environment at Europe's leading environmental centre, the Centre for Alternative Technology, and is also a student/associate member of IMechE , RICS, and CIBSE.

Also, in common with all 'fit and proper' members of Accreditation Schemes, our energy assessor has undergone a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check and holds a Basic Disclosure certificate issued by the CRB in accordance with the Police Act 1997. Furthermore, as a local cricket coach, he also holds an Enhanced Disclosure certificate - exceeding the requirements for DEA /CEA Accreditation Schemes.
